Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure web accessibility.
What we’ve done
- Built every page with real headings, landmarks, lists, and labels so assistive technology can navigate it.
- Made everything work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Checked color contrast for all text and controls, and never rely on color alone to convey meaning.
- Made pages work at 400% zoom and on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
- Kept animation short and turned it off for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
- Designed the quote form with clear labels, instructions, and specific error messages that screen readers announce.
- Used native, keyboard-friendly controls for the menu and the expandable questions, so they work without a mouse or JavaScript.
- Tested with automated tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use, high-contrast mode, and text-spacing changes.
Known limitations
- Interactive map: the map in the Service Areas section of our home page is provided by Google, and we don’t control how accessible it is. Every area we serve is also listed in text right next to it.
- Spam check: our quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which is designed to be accessible and usually needs no action. If it gives you trouble, email or call us instead.
