Multispectral Imaging

Multispectral sensors record how plants reflect specific bands of light, including red edge and near-infrared, which shift when vegetation is under stress. We capture calibrated imagery your agronomist or analysis platform can turn into plant-health insight.

Overview

We fly fields, vineyards, orchards, and landscapes with consistent altitude, overlap, and timing, and calibrate each flight for that day’s light. Flown on a schedule, the imagery becomes a season-long record of every block.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Calibrated band imagery

Images for each spectral band (green, red, red edge, and near-infrared), ready for agronomy or analysis software.

    Formats: TIFF

  • Calibration data

Reflectance-panel images and light-sensor readings captured with each flight.

    Formats: TIFF

  • True-color image set

Standard color photos captured on the same flight.

    Formats: JPG

  • Flight log and capture summary

Capture times, camera positions, conditions, and equipment used.

    Formats: CSVPDF

Formats can be adjusted to match your software. Tell us what your team uses when you request a quote.

Good to know

Ground truth still matters

Plant-health analysis shows where vegetation differs, not why. It’s most valuable paired with scouting, tissue or soil tests, and your agronomist’s judgment.

About finished maps

Vegetation index maps are map products tied to the earth’s surface. In California we deliver calibrated imagery for your analysis platform or licensed land surveyor to process, rather than producing finished maps ourselves.
